Join Apple's Battery Engineering team as a Hardware Manager for Battery Management Systems (BMS) where you will lead and develop a sizable team of BMS hardware engineering managers and their engineers, focusing your time on strategic leadership, cross-functional orchestration, and organizational capability building while maintaining technical credibility through selective deep engagement. We are looking for an experienced senior leader who can guide teams through revolutionary technological changes, build effective cross-functional collaboration, synthesize and deliver an advance battery roadmap, and influence continuous improvement with vendor workflow while managing concurrent BMS hardware development for vast Apple's portfolio. This manager will continuously transform the organization to scale capability and impact: leveraging AI and advanced tooling, building strategic vendor partnerships that extend our simulation and analysis capacity, identifying and closing talent gaps to deepen engineering rigor, leverage innovation to efficiently determine root cause and apply learnings across the organization, and influencing component suppliers to improve their design and validation methodologies for custom variations of catalog parts.
