AirPrint Engineering Manager Cupertino, United States of America The AirPrint team builds technologies and infrastructure that make printing simple, secure, and just work. These technologies are at the center of what makes Apple the best platform for photography, desktop publishing, and creative visual design. The team is seeking a hands-on, technically focused Software Engineering leader that can build on a strong foundation and deliver new features and functionality. The AirPrint Software Engineering Manager will be responsible for leading a team engineers delivering new software features, security updates, and bug fixes across macOS, iOS, and VisionOS. This position requires a self-motivated individual with strong technical, communication, and project management skills to handle responsibilities that include: - Driving software development via architecture discussions, coding, and code reviews - Defining product features, functional specs, resource planning, and development schedules - Scoping and prioritizing of features and bug fixes - Representing the team and its technology in technical and project meetings - Advising and encouraging engineering best practices to deliver quality features Help define technical priorities, product features, functional specs, and resource planning Manage scoping and prioritization of features and bug fixes Represent Team and printing technology in technical and project meetings Advise and encourage engineering best practices to deliver high quality features Define and grow a world class engineering team Minimum Qualifications: 5 years experience in a leadership role managing Software Engineering teams 5 years experience in software development in C/C++ Technical experience designing and implementing OS-level software and systems Bachelors Degree in
