Job Description: De Beers Group of Companies has an exciting opportunity for strong and committed individual to join the Mine Operations Department that will include vacation entitlement, benefits and bonus opportunity at the Gahcho Kué Mine Site based in the Northwest Territories. Reporting to the Drill & Blast Supervisor and working a two (2) week in / two (2) week out rotation, this position is responsible for the safe and effective operation of large rotary or percussion/hammer drills. The ideal candidate is one who is committed to safe working practices and strives for zero harm. This is a contract position with an end date of February 2027, with the possibility of extension. Key responsibilities: Operates drill equipment according to company procedures and standards; Reads drill pattern instructions or diagrams; Measures drill holes and inspecting drill pattern; Operates a variety of drilling machines to bore blast holes to specified depths at stake positions; Conducts daily safety checks and inspections of the
