Maintenance Supervisor: HME Workshop Moura, QLD, Australia Company Description: Company Description In Australia, we operate five steelmaking coal mines in Queensland's Bowen Basin, and have additional joint venture interests in manganese, as well as copper exploration projects under way in North West Queensland. Steelmaking coal is an essential ingredient in blast-furnace steel manufacture, producing steel used for critical building and infrastructure around the world. Dawson Mine Our Dawson operation is a large open-cut coal mine and is showing no signs of slowing down! Dawson's mining process is completed by varied fleets of which this role focuses on the Heavy Mobile Equipment fleet. It's not just the interesting large pieces of equipment that you would be working on in the HME workshop, it's also the placement of Dawson, it is located at the southern end of the Bowen Basin in Central Queensland, being just over a 2hrs drive west from either Rockhampton or Gladstone, or 4.5hrs drive north of the Darling Downs or South Burnett. Job Description: Dawson Mine has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join the Southern HME Workshop Maintenance team on a permanent basis, based in Moura, QLD. This role will have you oversee a range of equipment such as Electric Drive Haul Trucks, Dozers, Graders, Watercarts and the Wheel Loader Fleet, whilst working within the site's work management process to deliver safe and on-time maintenance.
