The Air Dominance and Strike Mechanical Engineering Team is responsible for designing and integrating advanced hardware for missile platforms . Air Dominance and Strike Mechanical Engineers own the full development lifecycle , from concept generation to integration and flight test, ensuring high-performance, resilient, and scalable mechanical systems that meet the demands of complex, contested environments. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate avionics and mission systems into air vehicles effectively. - Develop and modify 3D CAD models and 2D drawings for secondary structures and system components, including large assembly model management. - Conduct simulations and analyses, including hand calculations and FEA (finite element analysis), to validate designs against performance requirements and regulatory standards. - Build prototypes, analyze failures, and transition successful projects into production. - Lead design reviews,
