This role requires a strong foundation in user-centered design, technical understanding, and problem-solving skills to create intuitive workflows that empower developers to test and publish their apps seamlessly. This position is within the Devices & Services Experience Design (DXD) team. DXD is a multidisciplinary team passionate about discovering unanticipated needs, designing innovative products, and creating soulful experiences crafted with meticulous attention to detail. About Amazon Developer Amazon Developer provides tools, services, and resources that enable developers to build innovative experiences for Alexa-enabled devices. Our mission is to empower developers worldwide to create engaging applications that delight customers and expand the Alexa ecosystem. Key job responsibilities • Design user experiences for developer tools and workflows related to Alexa device app testing, submission, and certification processes • Create design solutions including interaction design, visual design, wireframes, and prototypes • Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and senior designers to translate requirements into intuitive user experiences • Support user research activities with developers to understand pain points and workflows throughout the app development lifecycle • Design and iterate on developer consoles, dashboards, testing interfaces, and submission portals • Apply and contribute to design systems and patterns that scale across developer touchpoints • Present design concepts to team members and stakeholders, incorporating feedback effectively • Work closely with engineering
