About this role
UX Design Intern, Interaction Design London, England, GBR Design at Amazon has been growing steadily in reach and impact-from devices to fashion, delivery logistics to search and streaming video, from voice and sound to physical retail, and more-all while creating and cultivating experiences that touch Amazon customers everywhere, every day. Amazon design teams include every flavour of UI, UX, visual, motion, illustration, brand, and marketing design roles-as well as design technologists, researchers, writers, and more. Key job responsibilities • Collaborate with the team to deliver user experience designs • Design beautiful, thoughtful interfaces demonstrating visual craft • Create prototypes that demonstrate intuitive interaction patterns and micro-interactions • Develop product visualisations to communicate design concepts • Craft user-centered designs informed by market analysis, customer feedback, and usability findings • Translate business requirements into visual concepts, interaction flows and prototypes • Develop compelling narratives that effectively communicate design decisions to diverse stakeholders Design Functional Competencies: • Visual Design Craft - Typography, colour theory, composition, layout, and accessible design • Prototyping - Creating effective prototypes, user flows, micro-interactions across fidelity levels • Storytelling - Communicating design decisions to diverse audiences • Systems Thinking - Designing within complex digital ecosystems A day in the life As an intern, you will be matched to a mentor.
