About this role
Transportation Specialist, Transportation Claims Specialist Sao Paulo, Sao Paulo, BRA Join Amazon Brazil's Network Losses team and play a critical role in protecting the integrity of our last-mile delivery operations. As a Transportation Claims Specialist, you will lead the end-to-end recovery process for shipment losses attributed to third-party carriers, directly impacting millions of dollars in annual savings. This is a pioneering role - you will manage and expand the structured claims recovery program in Brazil, building processes, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving measurable financial results in a fast-paced, data-driven environment. Key job responsibilities The Transportation Claims Specialist is responsible for managing and executing Amazon Brazil's ad-valorem recovery program with third-party carrier partners. This role is part of the Network Losses team and is responsible for identifying recoverable shipment losses, processing claims, ensuring compliance, and coordinating with stakeholders from Finance, Tax, Accounting, and Procurement to deliver net monthly and annualized savings. Key Responsibilities: Extract and analyze recoverable remittance data at the shipment level, respecting SLAs; Submit recovery data monthly to Finance, Tax, and Accounting teams; Process claims and manage disputes with carriers within established SLAs; Conduct audits on events, investigating shipments with missing grading; Monitor and identify scan abuses by carriers; Develop and implement SOPs for the recovery process, formalizing agreements as contractual addendums; Track performance KPIs, with a target of 100% compliance in the process; Coordinate cross-functional alignment for implementation and continuous evolution of the program.
