About this role

Tax Manager, Tax EMEA Consumer Munich, Bavaria, DEU Amazon EU seeks a Tax Analyst with German Tax Certification to support its European business operations. The ideal candidate will be able to work with a high level of collegiality, functioning as a tax adviser. We are open to hiring in both Munich and Berlin. Primary duties include: - Work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders across the group to provide ongoing tax support to various Amazon businesses and to Tax Country Owners; - Analyze application of tax legislations on business operations and communicate to both tax and non-tax stakeholders; - Design, implement and maintain tax processes to ensure ongoing management of tax risks; - Monitoring development in the Tax legislation in different jurisdictions. Key job responsibilities - Work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders across the group to provide ongoing tax support to various Amazon businesses and to different Tax Country Managers; - Effectively business partner to ensure business activities are consistent with the group´s European legal and operational structure; - Analyze application of tax legislations on business operations and communicate to both tax and non-tax stakeholders; - Design, implement and maintain tax processes to ensure ongoing management of tax risks; - Monitoring development in the Tax legislation in different jurisdictions. Basic Qualifications: - Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications at an advanced level - Experience working in a large public accounting firm or multi-national corporate tax department - Bachelor's degree - German Tax Certification (Stuerberater) - Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications
