Prime Air is seeking an experienced System Development Engineer (SysDE) to guide the development of new features and infrastructure for our drone software simulator. As a SysDE on our team, you will design, build, and operate services and infrastructure that Prime Air engineering teams use every day to develop, test, and release software. This person must be comfortable working with a team of top-notch engineers and scientists. We're looking for people who innovate and love solving hard problems. You will work hard, have fun, and of course, make history! Key job responsibilities - Design, build, and operate scalable AWS-based services and infrastructure that support software development and testing across Prime Air - Develop and improve simulation orchestration and workflow systems used by engineering teams across the organization - Develop and maintain infrastructure automation, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment tooling - Develop and maintain tooling that supports verification, certification, and simulation-based testing campaigns - Work closely with engineers across Prime Air who use software-in-the-loop and hardware-in-the-loop simulation to develop, test, and certify drone software
