As a Senior Technical Program Manager, you'll collaborate with product, engineering, accounting, and finance teams to build scalable financial systems that fuel Amazon's global growth while shaping the future of financial accounting at Amazon scale. Key job responsibilities - Lead cross-functional program execution by coordinating with product, engineering, accounting, and finance stakeholders to deliver financial systems that meet technical requirements and business objectives - Drive metrics-based decision making by collecting, analyzing, and communicating data that informs project direction and helps teams prioritize work - Facilitate stakeholder alignment by conducting regular communication with leadership at director and VP levels, ensuring transparency around project status, risks, and key performance indicators - Balance competing priorities by managing the tension between long-term product vision and immediate business needs, advocating for an incremental approach that delivers value consistently - Articulate technical strategy by translating complex technology choices and architectural decisions for diverse audiences, building shared understanding across technical and non-technical stakeholders A day in the life In this role, you'll navigate the complexity of large-scale financial systems integration.
