Sr. Supply Chain Logistics Specialist, ISCAP - Var Bellevue, Washington, USA An ideal candidate has a background in supply chain strategy, vendor management, operations, logistics, or warehouse management and excellent data driven problem resolution skills. They have the ability to work with external partners/influence others, pull and analyze data with ease, drive process improvements, standardize processes, and eliminate the root cause of defects within the current systems. This job will require solid communication skills while having the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment. This role might be for you if: - You are passionate about engaging with customers and managing supply chain vendor operations. - Passionate about warehousing operations and process efficiency - You enjoy working with data to analyze and report complex data sets to drive optimal business decisions. (Ability to present data and use advance formulas in Excel) - You own decisions from inception to implementation. - You own continuous improvement efforts using your program management skills. Key job responsibilities - Engage in communication with customers and third-party vendors (Logistics Service Providers). - Leading large projects independently - Travel to locations throughout North America (mostly domestic USA) - Analyze data from numerous databases (using Excel, SQL and/or other data management systems) and perform reporting and analysis as needed - Build and report performance metrics to assist with driving business results - Quickly and efficiently understand the business impact of observed trends and make decisions based on available data About the team The AWS Cloud Logistics team
