Amazon CloudFront is looking for an experienced Software Development Engineer to join our Video Delivery team in Seattle, WA. CloudFront is one of the world's largest content delivery networks. Working on systems with global scale is a daily part of the job. We build reliable, scalable, low-cost systems that serve our ever-growing customer base. We are constantly shipping features that drive innovation in the CDN market. The environment is fast-paced, collaborative, and full of hard problems worth solving. CloudFront Media & Entertainment team is shaping how video content is delivered to viewers at scale, setting the bar for Quality of Experience in live and on-demand streaming. Our services enable high-profile AWS customers to deliver some of the largest live events on the planet. We work with existing standards like LL-HLS, and are innovating beyond them with emerging protocols like Sye and Media over QUIC (MOQ) to make it possible for viewers to experience live events in near real-time. Our scope spans the full video delivery stack, from origin to edge, solving challenges in real-time content packaging, adaptive bitrate streaming, and scalable delivery.
