Sr Manager, Operations - AMZ8067.9 Coppell, Texas, USA Employer: Amazon.com Services LLC Position: Sr Manager, Operations Location: Coppell, TX Multiple Positions Available: Drive creation of quality initiatives, process change initiatives and other Lean initiatives to enable their functional area and ultimately the Fulfillment Center (FC) to meet and exceed business plan. 2. Responsible for the overall safety, quality and performance and customer experience of Inbound and Outbound operations. 3. Set and clarify requirements and expectations for Operations and Area Managers. Measure performance, provide feedback, and hold Ops Managers accountable for their performance and the performance of their departments. 4. Review and drive the key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to monitor operations performance, business financials, and quality. 5. Leverage the Operations and Area Managers by sourcing and nurturing ideas, and rolling them into the creation of improvement plans for the functional area. 6. Hire, manage, and develop a talented, diverse, and inclusive team of operations leaders 7. Take proactive steps to ensure that best practices are shared across all departments, shifts and among the network. Work closely with support staff (HR, Finance, Facilities, Safety, IT and other Sr. Operations Managers) to build and secure support and resources for projects and initiatives in their area, as well as providing needed support and resources for other staff initiatives. 8.
