Surface Transportation org is expanding and introducing new capabilities to our Fleet Management business that supports all Middle Mile assets (tractors, trailers, box trucks, hostlers). In this role you will deliver world class solutions while wearing many hats and working in a highly collaborative environment that is more startup than big company. This role will require strong leadership skills, ability to identify trends with limited data and interaction/influence with teams across Amazon to drive the development of our maintenance business. This Industry Specialist will be responsible for defining the vision, roadmap and driving program execution of our Fleet Management business with a specific focus on maximizing uptime and reducing cost for non-powered assets. A core pillar of this role is building and scaling a world-class Vendor Quality Audit Program - establishing a multi-tiered accountability framework spanning vendor self-audits, external auditor reviews, and internal quality assurance audits to drive repair standards, reduce defects, and improve Mean Time Between Groundings across the fleet.
