Solutions Engineer, IN Solutions Engineering Team Bengaluru, Karnataka, IND We're hiring an Solution Engineer to Invent, design, and implement engineering solutions to complex material flow/transformation and human/machine efficiency problems throughout the India Amazon supply chain. · Lead and coordinate design and innovation efforts to develop optimal solutions for the fulfillment and transportation network through equipment specification, material flow, process design, site layout, and intellectual property considerations. · Collaboration with internal teams and external vendors to generate high quality, cost effective solutions in very short periods of time. Key job responsibilities • Lead and coordinate concept and design development efforts for optimal solutions for the India fulfillment network through equipment specification, material flow, process design, ergonomics, associate experience, operational considerations and site layout • Work closely with vendors, suppliers and other teams to create innovative solutions • Conduct detailed design review after implementation in partnering with WHS and Operations • Collaborate with the launch team to ensure every detail is thought through and documented using a layout, module or Standard Operating Procedure and change control • Develop, document and update design standards in conjunction with worldwide design teams • Build strong working relationships with key company partners such as IN Launch team, Worldwide Design team, IN Procurement, IT, Loss Prevention, RME, WHS, Change Management, IN Operations, IN ACES and IN Capacity Planning team. • Willing to travel to different sites across India to interact with internal and external business and technical leaders A day in the life 1.
