The Vulnerability Management and Remediation Engineering team is building the next generation of mission critical security systems for protecting Amazon assets. Our innovations handle manage security in real time pushing scalability limits on cloud to new highs. These applications enable Amazon defensive security and security management teams globally. Our customers are Amazon, internal stakeholders, and Amazon's customers. Our engineers work directly with stakeholders, get close to customers' needs, and are empowered to take technical risks to build the best-in-class software with respect to quality, scale, and insights. The technical foundation this team builds, helps keep all of Amazon including business units (Fulfillment Centers, Physical Stores, Whole Foods, Fresh, etc.) secure. We are looking for an ambidextrous and dynamic manager who has a passion for making internal business teams successful. The ideal candidate has deep technical experience, preferably in AWS technologies, strong verbal and written communication, and excels at balancing priorities between a near-term and long-term focus. They know how to position their team to meet consistent shifting demands of the business. We desire someone who is passionate about coaching, and helping engineers achieve their desired potential, while getting hands on with designs to shape the team's high scale
