Software Development Engineer, Kuiper Manufacturing Systems Engineering Sunnyvale, California, USA Project Kuiper is Amazon's low Earth orbit satellite broadband network. Export Control Requirement: Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum. Manufacturing systems engineering (MSE) under Project Kuiper Prod-Ops is responsible for delivering software solutions that improve speed and quality of Kuiper manufacturing systems. We partner with engineering and production teams to bring reliability and repeatability to our systems, improve throughput and accelerate the transition. We are looking for a software engineer with experience in delivering software solutions that scale as we increase manufacturing throughput. We are looking for a full stack engineer with hands on experience in 1) programming languages like python, rust, typescript or java. 2) AWS cloud services. 3) building large-scale web applications 4) at least one modern JavaScript framework such as React. Key job responsibilities - Participate in all phases of software development lifecycle from requirements to implementation and deployment to operations. - Collaborate with stakeholders such as factory planners and technicians to launch customer centric software
