About this role

Senior Tax Analyst, US International Tax Hyderabad, Telangana, IND Amazon is seeking a Senior Tax Analyst to join its US International tax team in Hyderabad (India). The core of this role is running Excel-based tax models that ingest large datasets, execute multi-step calculations, and produce compliance-ready outputs. We are looking for candidates who thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment and who can work independently to deliver results on multiple projects with competing deadlines. This role will require data manipulation, model trouble shooting and process automation all while working on US International tax processes. This role directly contributes to the US International quarterly tax provision close process and annual US federal tax return, along with driving process improvement initiatives. Key job responsibilities • Assist with preparation/review of various international tax calculations like GILTI/NCTI, BEAT, Subpart F, Country-by-Country Reporting, Dual Consolidated Losses (DCL), Foreign Tax Credit, Pillar 2 etc. • Assisting with preparation/review of US International tax forms 5471, 8858, 8992, 8993, 8621 and other international reporting forms. • Identify opportunities and drive process improvements by leveraging Gen AI and technology tools, partnering with technology business partners as needed to deliver automation and optimization solutions. • Collaborate cross-functionally across various teams within and outside of tax. • Work with advanced cloud-based calculation models to ingest, manipulate, and analyze large datasets to support various international tax Reporting & Compliance workstreams, as assigned. • Researching international tax issues, working with outside advisers as necessary, as part of a tax team involved in supporting
