Senior Project Manager, Dangerous Goods, Regulatory Engagement Toronto, Ontario, CAN The Senior Project Manager, Dangerous Goods (DG) Regulatory Engagement is a DG, Storage, and Fire and Chemical Safety subject matter expert (SME) responsible for planning, coordinating and engaging with regulatory bodies and industry to reform and advance regulations. This role leverages partnerships WW (world-wide) to improve, enhance, and innovate DG transport and storage through the use of technology and data, using safety as the key driver to reduce the risk. Key job responsibilities - Work with the WW DG Regulatory Engagement Senior Manager, other DG and Storage SME's, and Leadership to assist in the development and update of an annual engagement strategy, including implementation of strategic initiatives - Regulatory oversight of existing and new Amazon operations, including opportunities to collaborate with regulators to improve network and facility safety, growth, and expansion; Plan, maintain, and engage as an active member of key global industry trade associations and non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) as well as other industry standard setting organizations - Be active in understanding and involved with the key personnel, including the interworking's of international DG regulatory bodies of: UNECE (United Nations Economic Commission for Europe), US DOT / PHMSA (US Department of Transportation / Pipeline & Hazardous Materials Safety Administration), FAA (Federal Aviation Administration), ADR (Agreement concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road), IACO (International Civil Aviation Organization) & IMO (International Maritime Organization), OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration), EPA (Environmental Protection Agency), NFPA (National Fire Protection Agency), ISO
