Senior Program Manager, Global Tax Data Seattle, Washington, USA Amazon's Global Tax Organization is looking for a Senior Program Manager to lead the Tax Audit Program within Global Tax Services (GTS). This is a high-visibility, cross-functional role responsible for transforming how Amazon Tax prepares for and responds to tax authority examinations across 100+ jurisdictions worldwide. Amazon faces a rapidly growing tax audit landscape, with tax authorities deploying increasingly sophisticated data analytics and AI to scrutinize multinational operations. This role will own the end-to-end program that shifts Amazon Tax from reactive firefighting to proactive audit readiness at global scale. Reporting into GTS, you will serve as the central program owner accountable for interconnected workstreams: - Driving 100% Tax team adoption of GAIA-a unified audit management platform-and gathering global tax requirements to define clear roadmap for its enhancements - Partnering with Accounting's Audit Readiness Program (AARP) to establish standardized financial data delivery for tax audits - Operationalizing the Tax Audit Readiness Champions (TARC) network to scale tools, processes, and learnings across all Tax teams globally - Identifying and/or supporting new or existing workstreams that build scalable tax audit readiness capabilities for the future. This role sits at the intersection of tax operations, technology, and data-requiring someone who can translate between technical teams (FinTech, AFFS, InTech) and Tax business teams (Controversy, Compliance, Planning, FRC) with equal fluency.
