This role drives strategic initiatives that expand AWS's global reach and accessibility by increasing geographic payment coverage, diversifying payment methods, and reducing friction across customer touchpoints. The position requires balancing growth-oriented product innovation with operational excellence, overseeing initiatives that span from streamlining enterprise onboarding and payment experiences to pioneering next-generation capabilities like embedded checkout and AI-powered payment solutions. The leader will guide cross-functional teams to deliver measurable business impact through improved customer conversion, enhanced payment success rates, and optimized cash flow management, while building the foundation for future autonomous payment capabilities that meet customers wherever they are in their cloud journey. Key job responsibilities Strategic Leadership Define and execute the multi-year product strategy for global payment adoption and customer accessibility across AWS's expanding customer base Partner with senior leadership across AWS Billing, Accounting, FinTech, Sales, and external financial institutions to align product roadmaps with business objectives Establish product metrics and KPIs that balance customer adoption, payment success rates, and revenue optimization Product Development & Execution Lead a team of product managers responsible for the payments adoption portfolio spanning payment methods expansion, enterprise onboarding, and GenAI-powered tools Prioritize and sequence initiatives across geographic payment coverage expansion, payment method diversification, and customer contact point optimization Coordinate product launches across 33+ engineering teams
