About this role
Senior International Tax Analyst, EMEA FRC Cork, IRL Amazon is seeking a Senior International Tax Analyst to play a key role on the EMEA Foreign Reporting and Compliance team based in Cork, Ireland. In this role you will support EMEA Senior International Tax Managers on international tax reporting (corporate tax returns & tax accounting) as well as international aspects of Amazon's worldwide income tax provision. This position will also support the US and international tax controversy teams on tax audits across the EMEA region. This position will also work with the international tax teams on the compliance and reporting aspects of Mergers, Acquisitions, Business Expansions and Internal Restructurings across the EMEA region. This role will work closely with the Amazon Web Services / LEO EMEA Accounting team based in Cork, Ireland. The successful candidate must have the ability to operate independently in a fast paced environment and work closely and proactively with numerous functional teams across our organization. Key job responsibilities - Support international tax compliance and reporting aspects of Mergers, Acquisitions, Business Expansions and Internal Restructurings across the EMEA region. - Work with US and international tax controversy teams within Amazon on tax audits across the EMEA region. - Drive process improvements and coordinate with Direct Tax Technology teams in Amazon to facilitate streamlining and automation of recurring calculations and corporate tax requirements. - Project Management of audit readiness initiatives and programs on the EMEA Foreign Reporting and Compliance Team. - Research and document technical tax and tax accounting
