About this role
Senior Financial Analyst, AWS Services Seattle, Washington, USA AWS Finance seeks a world-class Senior Financial Analyst to be a key member of a high-performing team supporting a strategic portfolio of AWS services. This role works closely with finance management as well as key business partners to drive thoughtful analysis and controllership. You will support end-to-end P&Ls for several dependent services within the AWS Storage portfolio, working across multiple business and finance teams to drive insights into business performance, lead key financial processes and projects, and champion process improvements across the organization. You will manage multiple time-sensitive deliverables across teams, proactively identify and manage risks and opportunities, and collaborate effectively with key stakeholders. Strong business partnership and communication skills are essential. This role requires a self-starter with a strong financial modeling background, problem-solving skills, a keen attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with ambiguous situations. With regular interaction across various business units at Amazon, strong interpersonal and communication skills are critical to success. Key job responsibilities - Own service-level P&L reporting and consolidated financial views across a portfolio of AWS services, including variance analysis and executive-ready commentary for WBR/MBR/QBR and annual OP planning reviews - Build complex financial models, analytical tools, and short- and long-range forecasts to measure performance against goals - Identify and quantify Risks & Opportunities (R&O), proactively surfacing trends and anomalies to drive decisions - Drive financial controllership across the portfolio: ensure accuracy in cost allocation, billing, and financial presentation - Collaborate
