As a Risk Manager for Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) at Amazon, you will play a key role in our commitment to environmental responsibility and sustainable business practices. You will support North America compliance efforts across multi-jurisdictional EPR regulatory landscapes - spanning waste streams including packaging, electronics, batteries, and textiles. This is a high-impact, cross-functional role where you will apply your analytical skills, regulatory expertise, and stakeholder management abilities to develop scalable compliance solutions, optimize processes, and advance Amazon's circular economy vision. Key job responsibilities Key Responsibilities Regulatory Compliance & Operations • Manage end-to-end Producer Responsibility Organization (PRO) selection and contracting across jurisdictions • Manage registration and reporting obligations with public authorities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness • Coordinate regulatory audit responses and maintain supporting documentation • Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for EPR compliance workflows Product Classification & Data Management • Lead product classification requirements implementation and ongoing maintenance • Manage classification rules and algorithm development to ensure accurate product categorization • Establish monitoring systems to track and improve classification performance Selling Partner Compliance • Design and execute Selling Partner compliance control frameworks • Support cross-functional teams in implementing compliance controls
