This role requires one to be a self-starter with good business modeling skills, keen attention to detail and good track record of collaborating with diverse stakeholders. This role has regular interaction with senior leadership and stakeholders across Amazon and requires good verbal and written communication skills. The candidate will need to be capable of operating with a high degree of autonomy and hence needs to demonstrate a high degree of comfort with ambiguity besides holding a high bar on performance. Key job responsibilities • Lead projects to drive controllership improvements across the Finance Operations teams • Drive quality control measures to ensure accuracy and compliance in finance operation processes and report the health of service from Quality perspective in an easy yet insightful manner. • Develop, modify, maintain the operational and design effectiveness of Finance Operations process and controls • Internal Audit, SOC Audits, SOX Compliance & ITGC Audits • Identify gaps across end-to-end processes and partner to implement solutions that mitigate risks. • Advise the Finance Operations team by assessing risks and controls. • Coordinate with multiple teams within AP, AR, R2R and Tax teams to ensure best practices are followed and implemented • Partner with control owners to facilitate responses
