Program Manager, SSD Tokyo, JPN Amazon has exciting opportunities for leaders in Operations Management within our rapidly expanding Sub Same Day (SSD) network in Japan. Our dynamic environment offers candidates significant challenges in strategic planning, network design, and driving scalable, continuous improvements across our fulfillment centers, supply chain, and last-mile delivery teams. 【Role Summary】 This role presents a unique opportunity to drive Amazon's ambitious goals for expanding and optimizing our SSD network in Japan. The successful candidate will lead programs, partnerships, and innovations to strategically grow our Sub Same Day delivery capabilities, ensuring best-in-class speed, coverage, and customer experience. You will drive robust planning processes and data-driven decision-making to create a positive impact on Amazon's SSD offerings in Japan through rapid services expansion and perishables integration. You will partner closely with multiple functional teams and stakeholder groups. The ability to influence without authority and execute with speed will be critical to success in this role. The ideal candidate should possess: • A successful track record of managing operations in logistics and rapid delivery services. • Strong analytical and business acumen with a focus on network design and optimization. • Experience in managing multiple stakeholder teams simultaneously. • Impactful communication skills. • A demonstrated commitment to Amazon's Leadership Principles, particularly Ownership, Bias for Action, Insist on Highest Standards, Customer Obsession, and Think Big.
