Position Overview As a Site Procurement Manager for Amazon Logistics, you'll be the crucial link between Global Procurement and Operations leadership, managing procurement operations for 5+ Sort Centers and SSD Stations nationwide. You'll drive strategic vendor relationships, optimize procurement processes, and lead a team of procurement professionals. Key job responsibilities • Lead and develop a team of procurement analysts, ensuring compliance with Global Procurement Policies • Implement procurement best practices across sites • Own end-to-end Procurement to Pay process (P2P) • Manage facilities vendor, ensuring service level agreements (SLAs) are met, including: - Janitorial services - Pest control services - Coffee/beverage vending services - Energy management and utilities - Meals - Shuttle Services • Collaborate with Finance to optimize budgets and track performance metrics • Implement and maintain inventory for materials consumed in the operation, including packaging. • Partner with RME to maintain optimal spare parts inventory • Develop and nurture local supplier relationships A day in the life Your role combines strategic vendor management with practical operational oversight. You'll balance multiple priorities - from ensuring day-to-day facility services run smoothly to optimizing long-term procurement strategies. You'll work to maintain site excellence while driving cost efficiencies
