About this role
Processing Assistant Sydney, New South Wales, AUS We're seeking for an experienced Operations Supervisor/Process Assistant to join the team for the upcoming launch of our brand new Fulfillment Center at Horsley Park. The Process Assistant will support the Area Manager, and will hold responsibilities specific to your process path which may include receive, stow, pick, pack or ship. Key job responsibilities: - Support and work in Inbound and other departments as required - Helping support daily management of department duties, including allocating labor, leading meetings, assigning job duties - Providing coverage for Area Managers - Providing policy follow-up, attendance tracking (duties do not extend to discipline) - Tracking and reporting of ATS/labor hours - Assisting the floor as an associate resource, training associates and verifying SOP compliance - Ensuring successful area performance, through tracking, reporting and feedback of associate performance - Participating in Operational Excellence initiatives in some capacity - Fully understanding workflow and daily production goals - Assisting in keeping work area clean and organised - Identifying and addressing safety hazards within the work area - Coaching associates to work safely at all times - Referring all job injuries immediately to area manager Basic Qualifications: - Previous experience leading teams - Experience working within a similar field (manufacturing/distribution/warehousing/large retail) - Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills to coach, train and assist team members - Availability to work 38 hours+/week, and overtime as required - Experience working with computers and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) Preferred Qualifications: -
