About this role

Principal Technical Program Manager, WHS Data-Tech Bellevue, Washington, USA We're building AI and computer vision systems that protect over 1.5 million people at work every day, and we need a senior technical leader to drive this mission forward. As a Senior Technical Program Manager on our Workplace Health & Safety Data-Tech team, you will own the strategy and delivery of large-scale programs that apply computer vision, machine learning, and generative AI to detect, analyze, and prevent workplace safety incidents across Amazon's global operations. You'll partner with applied scientists and software engineers to take research from prototype to production, define the technical roadmap, and deliver measurable safety outcomes. This role is for someone who thrives in ambiguity, has deep fluency in AI/ML systems, and can lead multiple engineering and science teams through complex technical challenges. You'll influence investment decisions, author organizational strategy documents, and communicate directly with senior executives.
