Principal Industrial Designer, Devices & Services Experience Design (DxD) team Seattle, Washington, USA The Industrial Design team is seeking a talented and passionate Principal Industrial Designer to work on our next-generation of devices and accessories. You will be working with a unique and gifted team developing exciting products for consumers. The team is a multidisciplinary group of engineers and scientists engaged in a fast-paced mission to deliver the new products. The team faces a challenging task of balancing cost, schedule, and performance requirements. You should be comfortable collaborating in a fast-paced and often uncertain environment, and contributing to innovative solutions, while demonstrating leadership, technical competence, and meticulousness. Key job responsibilities This Designer will be directly responsible for delivering all aspects of the physical experience, from concepts and prototypes all the way to production. This designer will lead and work collaboratively within a team of other designers, researchers, engineers and program managers, creating a holistic product experience at the highest standards for our customers. A successful candidate will deliver world-class design solutions and have the creativity and judgment to translate a customer centric design vision into concepts that are simple, intuitive and visually refined despite underlying complexity or constraints. This designer will possess an exceptional eye for detail, form and proportion and must embrace a highly iterative approach to design informed by the latest technologies and industry trends.
