About this role

Principal, Corp BD, Corporate Business Development, Corporate Business Development New York, New York, USA Amazon Corporate Business Development is seeking a highly motivated and experienced BD and partnerships professional to join the Corporate BD team to focus on strategic initiatives, deal work, and first-of-a-kind commercial partnerships across a range of industries and sectors. This role will work closely with Amazon senior management, cross business-unit BD teams, and Corporate Partnership Directors to develop unique, high-impact partnership opportunities, finding the right intersection between our strategic goals and partner capabilities. You will be part of a team responsible for generating, managing, and executing some of Amazon's most complex, precedent-setting partnerships. This includes supporting and managing relationships and negotiations for deals that have long-term, transformative implications for Amazon. This position offers an unparalleled opportunity to leverage your ability to forge strong relationships at senior levels, lead first-of-their-kind commercial initiatives, and build cross-functional relationships inside one of the world's most innovative, customer-centric companies. We are seeking an innovative, creative, analytical, and strategic thinker who is passionate about building transformative commercial partnerships that support Amazon's ongoing growth and innovation. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives on solving complex, ambiguous problems, someone who can identify and structure novel partnership models that don't yet have a playbook. You work effectively with cross-functional counterparts and excel in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment. High judgment, the ability to earn trust at all levels, strong negotiation skills, and comfort operating in highly visible, ambiguous situations are essential for success
