You'll join a diverse team of design engineers, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. You'll collaborate with people across AWS to help us deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers. As Manager of ICT Design Engineering for the Americas, you will lead a team of engineers responsible for designing the telecommunications pathways, spaces, and building operations cable plant that forms the backbone of AWS data center operations. Your team translates complex network requirements into buildable, cost-effective physical infrastructure designs - enabling capacity delivery at scale across Commercial, Colocation, and Amazon Dedicated Cloud (ADC) build types. You will own the Telecommunications Basis of Design (BOD) - the governing standard for ICT infrastructure across AWS's global design portfolio - and drive design consistency across 15+ active programs.
