About this role

Maintenance and Engineering Manager, RME Kemps Creek, New South Wales, AUS Join Amazon's growing Reliability, Maintenance & Engineering (RME) team as a Maintenance and Engineering Manager at the largest Fulfillment Center (FC) in the Southern Hemisphere and first Amazon Robotics Site in Australia. The Maintenance and Engineering Manager is the line manager for a team of up to 12; including Maintenance Supervisors and Technicians (fitters and electricians). As a Maintenance and Engineering Manager, you'll bring together the elements that make our working environment as supportive and efficient as possible. Your focus will be to lead and mentor a team of expert technicians dedicated to equipment reliability. Learn more about Amazon RME in Australia Key job responsibilities • Lead, support and mentor the maintenance team, ensuring site operations are maintained in a safe, standard and efficient manner. • Work with the team and the wider network to harness the technical expertise available and build solutions. • Support the Senior Maintenance and Engineering Manager as they work with the Site Safety department & Site Leadership to implement, record and audit safety and statutory compliance programs to provide a safe working environment for all staff. • Implement network standards and focus on preventative maintenance to provide a high level of equipment availability to our internal customers. • Ensure sufficient technical coverage is available for the shifts by organising and directing the training program for the team. • Manage local projects or support Australia wide projects as assigned by the Senior Regional Maintenance and
