We are offering a unique opportunity for a talented and ambitious competition lawyer to work at the forefront of the most interesting and challenging EU and German competition matters. Key job responsibilities · Drive regulatory competition matters at EU level and in Germany, including integrated partnership with the local legal teams. · Advise the business and legal colleagues on competition-related matters across all Amazon businesses. · Help shape the company's long-term strategy on high impact and often novel issues. · Think Big and look around corners to spot issues and identify developments of relevance for the Amazon business. · Partner with our public policy team and engage with regulators and policy makers on a broad range of issues. · Contribute as a member of the EU Competition team to develop mechanisms for training, compliance, and cross-functional coordination. Basic Qualifications: - Experience managing multiple projects and meeting aggressive deadlines - • Fully qualified lawyer with outstanding academic and legal qualifications - • 5+ years of experience in EU and German competition law - • Experience in independently managing competition related regulatory matters, with deep demonstrated experience in the EU
