Gerente de Saude e Segurança do Trabalho, Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) São João de Meriti, Rio de Janeiro, BRA The WHS Site Manager plays an important role in helping our Operation deliver to our customers. We are looking for motivated individuals who want to be the one behind the Amazon smile. The WHS Site Manager will be responsible for collaborating with Site Operations team to execute company policies and ensure compliance to all applicable local and regional regulations. By leveraging lean principles and kaizens, the WHS Site Manager will lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce conditional and ergonomic risk in our processes to ensure a safe and healthful working environment for our Associates. A successful WHS Site Manager will demonstrate the ability to build trust and confidence with the Operations Team and inspire change through providing comprehensive risk assessments and data analysis. Key job responsibilities • Manage overall compliance with local requirements and authorities. • Provide advice and guidance on Health and Safety matters to all stakeholders within designated area of responsibility. • Provide management information and statistics related to your area of responsibility. • Support business change through effective change management processes within the fast-paced environment. • Continuous Improvement Management with partners, as well as development of SOPs, ensuring Amazon's requirements, guidelines and policies are communicated and executed by partners. • Build strong working relationships with internal peers, and maintain and improve communication. • Develop plans for on-site emergencies, peak safety, heat stress, special events and other unique
