About this role
FinOps Specialist - AR, Global Account Receivables Pune, Maharashtra, IND Summary of the role The successful candidate will be aligned with our Finance Operations - Global Accounts Receivable team and will be responsible for accounts receivable, customer queries and dispute resolution. You will be responsible for Cash Applications where in you need to have extensive knowledge and ability to perform day-to-day operations while maintaining SLA's. Solving queries related to cash applications and coordination with customers is required. You should have a basic level understanding of O2C process, specifically cash application process involving research and application of unapplied cash, reconciliation of account, processing emails related to remittance advice from customers, etc. As part of our commitment to your development, you will also gain exposure in cross-functional and process improvement projects, and your core responsibilities will include following: - Ensure timely closure of payments with high degree of accuracy - Respond to customer queries through call and/or email - Research unapplied payments and work with customer to identify the root cause and resolve open issues on account - Work with internal teams to drive process improvements and resolve escalations and discrepancies on customer account - Provide growth ideas for process standardization and automation through JDI/Kaizen projects - Perform complex reconciliations on customer payments - Perform QC and conduct refresher trainings with the team on best practice sharing - Highlight and address issues with the technical teams related to the discrepancies with the ERP system Job requirements - Excellent written and verbal communication
