Surface Transportation is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Finance Manager to join its Finance team. This role will be play a critical role in helping to optimize our operations costs with a focus on transportation efficiencies. This is an exciting opportunity to innovate and reduce our cost to serve customers through partnership with teams across Operations and Technology. You will partner with business leaders on specific projects that you will help drive from inception to delivery, in areas such as network design, under the roof execution, and forecasting and scheduling. Regular collaboration with business leaders will provide an opportunity to exhibit your verbal and written communication skills. A typical day in this role involves creating new measures for business effectiveness, developing creative solutions using large scale data mining tools, and identifying high priority projects to maximize results for key stakeholders.
