About this role
Equipment Operations Engineer, Amazon Leo Redmond, Washington, USA Amazon Leo is Amazon's low Earth orbit satellite broadband network. Export Control Requirement: Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum. We're looking for an Equipment Operations Engineer with expert experience installing, commissioning and troubleshooting custom industrial equipment in a high tech, high speed manufacturing environment. : This position will lead production maintenance operations to ensure maximum equipment reliability, availability, and performance. Drive maintenance excellence through strategic planning, predictive/preventive maintenance programs, and continuous improvement initiatives. Key job responsibilities • Implement comprehensive maintenance strategies to optimize equipment reliability and minimize production downtime • Troubleshoot complex equipment issues and implementing sustainable solutions • Manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs. • Drive root cause analysis programs and implement corrective actions to prevent recurring equipment failures • Maintain spare parts inventory management • Manage maintenance budgets, including labor, parts, and contractor costs • Partner with Production teams to coordinate maintenance activities with production schedules • Lead maintenance improvement projects to enhance equipment reliability and reduce maintenance costs
