ABOUT THIS ROLE The Audible Books Content Acquisitions Team owns the full cycle business relationships and new deal generation for our audiobooks program as well as for literary Audible Originals. As a member of the team you will help execute our acquisition strategy for audio rights with authors, agents, publishers, and recognized IP brands. You will independently negotiate a high volume of complex agreements, and build strategic partnerships with key industry stakeholders that will impact Audible's overall business. You also will be responsible for special projects that will help contribute to our strategic goals. ABOUT YOU You are a deep expert in the UK book and audio publishing world with strong relationships across British literary agencies, publishers, and independent authors. You understand regional audience preferences and the nuances of the UK marketplace, from navigating relationships with rights holders to identifying content with strong performance potential across territories. You are a sophisticated negotiator and a high-volume dealmaker, who combines relationship-driven dealmaking with data-informed decision-making, leveraging analytics to optimize deal structures and identify high-potential content.
