About this role

Deployment Execution Engineer , First Deployment Execution London, England, GBR Amazon is seeking an experienced business-oriented Deployment Engineer to support the delivery of large-scale and highly complex logistic process automation and storage initiatives for the continued expansion of our fulfilment network. Ideal candidates will have extensive experience with automation deployments combined with a strong technical problem-solving ability - often occurring across multiple sites and technologies. The role requires a holistic view of all aspects of an Amazon Warehouse (Fulfilment Centre, Inbound Cross-Dock, Sortation Centre or Distribution Centre) while focusing on its automation technologies and storage solutions. This person will be responsible for evaluating and delivering state-of-the-art material handling systems and robotic innovations while coordinating internal teams and external contractors in order to effectively support the launching of new automated buildings and expansions in existing sites. The role could be based in London, Madrid, Barcelona or Luxembourg with ~50% travel across Europe during peak deployment season, with occasional international travel. Key job responsibilities - Own the creation, validation, and continuous improvement of deployment deliverables (such as Work Instructions and 3PA training) across multiple technologies, ensuring they are complete, standardized, and ready for global scale. - Support evaluation and delivery of large-scale automation technologies including conveyance, sortation and robotics systems, often occurring across multiple sites at a time - Coordinate cross-functional teams including internal stakeholders
