You will lead the technical design, development, and launch of a new global system serving finance needs worldwide-delivering data as a service that directly influences day-to-day decisions and makes it easier for customers to do business with Amazon Retail. The ideal candidate brings strong experience designing and building secure, globally distributed systems on AWS, with responsibility for architecture, design, and implementation that delivers availability and latency guarantees. Beyond technical excellence, you will be a leader on the team-mentoring junior engineers, contributing to hiring through interviews, and setting a high bar for coding standards across the organization.
