About this role

Business Intelligence Engineer II Hyderabad, Telangana, IND Amazon is seeking a Business Intelligence Engineer (BIE) to support Vendor Investigation and Transaction Accuracy (VITA). VITA's mission is to detect and prevent theft, fraud, abuse and waste globally. We use advance techniques to prevent erroneous payments and to protect Amazon shareholders. We are seeking a BIE to support our automation and data needs. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, relishes working with large transactional volumes and big datasets, and is passionate about data and analytics. Ideal BIE L5 build and maintain advanced data pipelines and dashboards in a scalable and performant manner. They partner with data engineering, product teams, and technology stakeholders to onboard new data sources, ensure data lineage, deliver comprehensive data products and provide automation solutions. The candidate must deliver robust solutions and should be proficient with scripting languages like SQL, Python and work independently on the data challenges. The BIE should have Accounts payables domain knowledge and must be eager to dive deep into invoice, vendor, and payment data to develop fraud, risk, and erroneous payment analytics. The BIE will identify manual investigation opportunities and develop advanced analytical solutions using AI which will be used by VITA investigators and senior leadership. BIE L5 should use statistical analysis to address VITA's biggest problems in proactively identifying defects.
