Would you like to be part of a team focused on increasing awareness and adoption of Amazon Web Services (AWS) by engaging with state and local government transportation agencies who are reinventing their IT strategies by adopting cloud computing, artificial intelligence, and data analytics? Amazon Web Services is seeking an experienced Business Development Leader to drive growth and adoption of AWS services within the US State & Local Government (SLG) Transportation vertical, specifically focused on Departments of Transportation (DOTs), Tolling Authorities, Transit Agencies, and Airports. This is an exciting opportunity to define and execute a go-to-market strategy for one of the most dynamic and transformational segments in the public sector. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities across transportation agencies nationwide. You will work at the intersection of technology and public infrastructure - helping agencies modernize legacy systems, improve traveler experiences, enhance safety, and build smarter, more connected transportation networks. You will leverage your deep understanding of the transportation sector, its unique procurement processes, and the challenges agencies face to position AWS as the cloud platform of choice for the next generation of transportation solutions.
