About this role

Area Manager , IXD Operations Lerma, Mexico, MEX Our MXCF Operations network delivers millions of packages and smiles to Amazon customers every day. We are looking for seasoned, customer-focused leaders who want to join our team as an Area Manager at our new Inbound Cross Dock (IXD) - the first of its kind in Mexico. This state-of-the-art facility represents a significant milestone in Amazon's expansion in Latin America, featuring new processes and innovative cross-docking solutions. In this role, you will lead multiple teams of hourly workforce and will be responsible for developing and coaching other managers while ensuring the highest levels of safety, quality, attendance, and performance across operations. You will drive strategic initiatives and optimize processes while maintaining service level agreements and delivery expectations. Your scope includes ensuring inventory is efficiently processed and distributed from vendors to our Fulfillment Centers (FCs) at the right time and in the right quantities, supporting the broader Amazon fulfillment network and ultimately enabling timely customer deliveries. You will also be responsible for implementing new technologies and processes to enhance operational efficiency. Key job responsibilities - Lead multiple departments/areas of hourly associates through effective coaching, mentoring, and performance management. - Drive strategic initiatives and implement innovative solutions to improve operational efficiency across multiple areas/shifts. - Analyze complex data and metrics to identify trends, develop action plans, and drive continuous improvement projects that impact multiple departments. - Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promise at a broader scope while ensuring standardization across operations. -
