About this role

Account Manager, Transport - Roads, Regulation & Regional, Central Government London, England, GBR Are you passionate about the future of transportation and helping organisations transform how they deliver critical infrastructure and mobility services? Do you have the business acumen and technology leadership background necessary to help establish Amazon Web Services (AWS) as a key technology platform provider across the UK's roads, regulatory, and regional transport sectors? This is an exciting opportunity to drive growth and shape the future of cloud-native technology adoption across some of the UK's most strategically important transport organisations - including the Department for Transport, National Highways, Transport for London, Transport for Greater Manchester, Transport for West Midlands, DVLA, and DVSA. You will be joining at a pivotal moment as the UK Government invests £24 billion in motorways and local roads (2026-2030) and city region transport authorities lead a £15.6 billion regional investment programme. Your role will be to help these organisations harness cloud-native analytics, real-time operations management, and AI-powered capacity optimisation to increase network capacity without proportional infrastructure expansion. You will possess both a customer-obsessed attitude and a strong understanding of how UK transportation organisations operate and the challenges they face when making technology decisions. You will have an ability to build relationships at all levels within customer organisations, driving tangible outcomes aligned with the government's vision for technology-enabled transport networks. You are a self-starter who wants to build a business, drive measurable customer outcomes, and make a real difference in how the UK moves. Key
