About this role
Academy Training Specialist II, Transportation Excellence Academy Nashville, Tennessee, USA The Transportation Excellence Academy (TEA) provides a consistent and reliable training experience for Transportation Operations Management (TOM) leaders through a three-stage onboarding and development journey. TEA is looking for a trainer who is passionate about developing a growing network of transportation leaders to become an industry leading organization. As a Training Specialist II, you are responsible for Developing the Best by facilitating and executing instructor-led TOM proficiency training. You will lead weekly sessions on various topics providing learners with skills critical to their success in role. Training topics include understanding the Amazon transportation structure, maintaining a safe operation, managing CDL drivers, and leading the Amazon way using a mix of technologies and media platforms. Key job responsibilities • Organize and deliver the virtual instructor-led training sessions. • Create an engaging learner experience using various training strategies and adult learning methodologies as measured through manager feedback and post-training surveys. • Facilitate the delivery of a blended learning experience comprised of virtual instructor led training (vILT), in-person, hands-on operational training for both internal and external TOM partners (including Senior Leaders) using skillful application of adult learning theory • Measure, assess, and document trainee performance, attendance, and competency levels throughout the experience through formalized mechanisms. • Escalate performance management needs. • Provide TOM Leadership knowledge of safety, driver management, and operational tools and resources. • Actively pursue continuous improvement through proactive identification of content, process, and efficiency gaps. • Collaborate with peer Training
