About this role
Embedded Linux Engineer Dhaka, Dhaka Division, Bangladesh Company Description: AlemHealth's hardware ensures that patients anywhere in the world can have access to accurate and timely diagnosis today. To do that better, we're looking for an embedded Linux engineer who will be responsible for building a stable and secure Linux distribution for AlemHealth's Linux-based custom hardware. If you are comfortable working in all aspects of the Linux OS stack: boot loaders, the Linux kernel, kernel drivers, userland deployments, typical system applications, and cross compilation environments, you should apply. You'll be using your talents to save lives, which we think is pretty cool. Job Description: Responsibilities · Own the Linux deployments across all of the AlemHealth embedded systems. · Integrate and port custom drivers and software onto AlemHealth embedded systems. · Perform security hardening, auditing, and review of AlemHealth's embedded Linux deployments. · Work with application Software Engineering teams to facilitate porting of complex applications to a security hardened Linux userland. · Assist with maintenance of the embedded system application developer toolchain and build system. Qualifications: Qualifications Minimum qualifications: · Experience with Unix system fundamentals and Linux ecosystem. · Experience building and configuring Linux userland installations (the base OS). · Experience in C/C++ and build systems; coding for systems programming and daemon development. · Experience using linux debugging tools to explore memory leaks, network reliability and performance issues, and I/O issues. Additional Information: Preferred Qualifications · Experience with uboot, fastboot, and modern Linux kernels. · Experience with Nvidia GPUs and Linux4Tegra. ·
