The ideal candidate will have a robust background in database administration, architecture, and PostgreSQL development. The DBA will be responsible for ensuring the performance, integrity, and security of the unit's PostgreSQL databases. Responsibilities and Duties: - Design and implement database architectures that support business requirements and achieve high performance, availability, and security. - Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of PostgreSQL databases. - Conduct performance tuning of database systems, including queries, stored procedures, and indexing strategies. - Develop and implement database backup, recovery, and failover procedures. - Assist in the design and development of data models and database solutions. - Collaborate with development teams to optimize database code in application layers.
