Job Description The Database Engineer will manage and optimize database systems for platform data storage infrastructure. Implement and maintain different data stores, ensure database performance and reliability, and work with data engineers to integrate databases into data pipelines. Design and implement database schemas and structures, establish database backup and recovery procedures, and optimize database performance through indexing, query optimization, and configuration tuning. Implement database security controls and access management, monitor database health and resource utilization, and troubleshoot complex database issues. Manage database version upgrades and patches, implement database high availability and disaster recovery solutions, and automate routine database administration tasks. Evaluate new database technologies for potential adoption, maintain database documentation, and provide database expertise to development teams. Develop and enforce database standards and best practices, conduct capacity planning
